Place the outdoor sensor in the shade, under an eave or on a south-facing fence, so sun doesn't skew the reading. Run the station from USB for a constant backlight, or from batteries with the backlight switching off after 15 seconds.

Is the screen really see-through?
Yes. The display panel is transparent, so the numbers appear to float against your wall.
How does it forecast?
It tracks changes in temperature, humidity and barometric pressure and shows one of five icons: sunny, cloudy, overcast, rain or ice alert.
Does it need to be plugged in?
No. It runs on batteries, but the backlight only stays on when it's powered by USB.
Can I add more sensors?
Yes, up to three. Extra sensors are sold separately.
How long does delivery take?
