About these terms

These terms apply to every order placed on Solano Home, operated by a sole-trader business (ABN 94 592 370 727), trading as Solano Home, based in Point Cook, Victoria, Australia.

Order acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, not a contract of sale. We accept your order, forming a contract between us, when we send your dispatch confirmation — not at the order-confirmation stage. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where we suspect fraud, a stock issue arises, or there's been a pricing error, and we'll refund you in full if we do.

Pricing and errors

Prices on Solano Home are shown in Australian dollars. Solano Home is not currently registered for GST, so no GST is added to your order. We take care to display prices accurately; if a pricing or listing error occurs, we'll contact you before proceeding, and you can choose to continue at the correct price or cancel for a full refund. Where we show a reduced or "was" price, the higher price reflects a genuine price at which the item was offered for a reasonable period beforehand.

Payment methods

We accept payment through Shopify Payments (credit and debit cards), PayPal, Afterpay and Zip, and, where offered, Shop Pay instalments. Availability can vary by order and is confirmed at checkout.

Product availability

Occasionally an item becomes unavailable after you've ordered it, particularly for products sourced through our warehouse partners. If this happens, we'll offer you a substitute, a backorder with an updated delivery estimate, or a full refund — your choice.

How we fulfil orders

Most items ship on our behalf from our Australian-warehouse supplier partners; a smaller range ships from an overseas warehouse partner, noted on the relevant product page. Wherever your order ships from, it's a Solano Home order — we handle customer service, returns and warranty claims directly. You'll never be redirected to a supplier.

Delivery

Delivery timeframes, costs and conditions, including for bulky freight items, are set out in our Shipping & Delivery policy, which forms part of these terms.

Returns and warranty

Change-of-mind returns, faulty or damaged items, and warranty claims are handled under our Returns & Refunds policy, which forms part of these terms. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, logos and design — belongs to Solano Home or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
